Preparation For The Trip
So, for my dream vacation, here’s what I’ve used to make it happen:

Starting from my home base in Waikiki, I’m going to enjoy as much as I can as I trapse from one side of Oahu Island to the other!

2:50 Am and My Uber Driver Is Outside!
Airport was a breeze! Laguardia, thank you for being so much nicer than JFK!
My uber driver kept the car cool, quiet (no music) and we found that leaving CT for Laguardia at 2:50 AM is by far the best time to go.
8 Hours seems like a long time, but when you fly United, have a sweet seat between you and your fellow passenger and catch up on living our best lives on our way to Hawaii - it was a pleasure! (I recommend the beef - my new friend Donnis did not like the chicken). Matthew, who also lives in Oahu, was a phenomenal United flight attendant as were the rest of the crew on this delightful flight! Thanks United!
Look - a Hawaiian Island!
Landing! Two Flights, United Airlines - both great with the transfer to the new plane easy, and the staff simply incredible! That is outside of that one gate-keeper who made me take off my fanny pack and stuff it into my carry on - they take the two packages pretty seriously. I thought she was going to make me throw-out my breakfast, but she reconsidered and let it slide - "Welcome," was not her best attribute - oh well - rules I guess.
And, finally the uber to the resort... I think I prefer getting the luxury ubers when it's just the matter of a few bucks going forward.

Getting Healthy
E2M Fitness helped me cut down on sugar and carbs while I cut out the wine and lost (I hope I never find them again) 15 pounds and gained some muscle with their great exercise programs. Muscle I’m going to need for these adventures!
